This is the place to find news about different editions of Red Plenty, and a reasonably up-to-date listing of events where I’m due to talk about the book. A short video interview with me is down below.
NEWS
The British hardback edition of Red Plenty (Faber and Faber) is so far the only one in traditional paper-and-ink form. It can be ordered from Amazon UK (see link on front page of site) and they will ship it worldwide.
But an American edition will be published by Graywolf Press in spring 2012.
An ebook edition, in ePub and Kindle formats, has just been published by Faber. This is theoretically available in all territories except the United States, but some people in the US appear to be successfully obtaining it. The Kindle edition is here (or see link on front page). The ePub edition is here.
A Russian language translation will be published by AST/Corpus in approximately 18 months.
An Estonian translation will be published by Tanapaev at about the same time.
A Dutch translation in both paper and ebook forms will be published by Nieuw Amsterdam in spring 2011.
An 11,500 word extract (the whole of Section III, Chapter 1 of the book) has appeared in the US in Issue 11 of the literary magazine A Public Space.
The same extract in Russian has been published in the October 2010 issue of The Prime Russian Magazine (Moscow)
A Spanish translation will be published by Turner Libros in October-November 2011.
A German translation will be published by Rowohlt, date to be decided.
A Turkish translation will be published by Domingo, date again not yet decided.
